The presentation addresses the latest challenges in the management of scientific data, especially in the field of nuclear science. In recent years, joint efforts have started in Europe to optimise existing data banks and to create repositories for easy access. The talk will present the activities in Hungary and discuss the impact of data repositories in scientific research.
